People understand and use money within the context of their culture and life experiences. While there is no “right” or “wrong” way to handle money, some ways are more likely to increase financial control and independence.

Using the Dollar Works 2 curriculum, this seminar will teach you the essentials of:

  • Making money decisions
  • Managing your spending plan
  • Using credit wisely
  • Saving and investing
  • Understanding identity theft and fraud

This workshop will take place October 14 and 21, 2015 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at the MSU Extension office, 50 East Sprague Road, Ionia, MI 48846. The workshop costs $10.00 and is open to the public. Registration required by contacting Jim Buxton at 616-527-5357 or buxtonji@anr.msu.edu.
