People understand and use money within the context of their culture and life experiences. While there is no “right” or “wrong” way to handle money, some ways are more likely to increase financial control and independence.

Using the Dollar Works 2 curriculum, this seminar will teach you the essentials of:

  • Making money decisions
  • Managing your spending plan
  • Using credit wisely
  • Saving and investing
  • Understanding identity theft and fraud

This three-part series will take place on November 9, 16, and 23, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Pontiac Faith Deaf Assembly Church, 897 East Walton, Pontiac, MI 48340. Classes are free, open to the public, and will be interpreted by Michigan Qualified Sign Language Interpreters. To register call Toni Ufolla at ufolla@sbcglobal.net, voice/text (248) 408-6830, VP (248) 429-5000.
