People understand and use money within the context of their culture and life experiences. While there is no “right” or “wrong” way to handle money, some ways are more likely to increase financial control and independence.
Using the Dollar Works 2 curriculum, this seminar will teach you the essentials of:
- Making money decisions
- Managing your spending plan
- Using credit wisely
- Saving and investing
- Understanding identity theft and fraud
This two-part series will take place on Thursdays, August 13 and 20, 2015 from 1 – 4 p.m. at MSU Extension, DCC Building, 15100 Northline Road, Suite 200, Southgate, MI 48195. Classes are free, open to the public. To register contact Beth Martinéz at (734) 720-7689 x104, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
