People understand and use money within the context of their culture and life experiences. While there is no “right” or “wrong” way to handle money, some ways are more likely to increase financial control and independence.
Using the Dollar Works 2 curriculum, this seminar will teach you the essentials of:
- Creating a Spending Plan (July 30, September 3)
- Using Credit Wisely August 12, September 10)
- Pumping Up Savings (August 20, September 17)
- Creating Financial Goals (August 27, September 24)
This series will run the course of the summer and always from 9 - 10 a.m. on Thursdays at the Hope Center, 518 Harriet Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. Classes are free and open to the public. Registration required by calling (734) 222-9595.
