Michigan Quilt Barn Trails Gathering

Date: August 11, 2012
Location: United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall; Marion, MI

Time: 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

MSU Extension/Greening Michigan Institute and the Osceola County Quilt Barn Trail are sponsoring an August Gathering of individuals involved in Michigan’s quilt barn trails to share information and assist groups involved in planning new trails around the state. We will also explore ways to work together across trails through marketing, surveys and gathering data that will help to identify the impact of these rural tourism trails.

The gathering will take place August 11, 2012 for a day-long meeting at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Marion (Osceola County). Participants are invited to come the day before or stay over to experience the Osceola Quilt Barn Trail and have more time in conversation with attendees.

Preregistration is required. For further information please contact Julie Avery, Michigan State University Extension specialist for cultural community and economic development.
