The purpose of this energy efficiency tour is to promote energy efficiency practices that reduce overall greenhouse energy expenses.

8:30 - 9 a.m.      Registration, Arborview Greenhouse

9 - 10 a.m.         Tour of Arborview Greenhouse’s energy efficiency projects: IR Poly, Heat Curtains, Low-intensity LEDs

                         Tour Location: Arborview Greenhouse (515 24th Ave, Hudsonville, MI 49426)
10 - 10:30 a.m. Travel to Walter’s Gardens (on own)

                         Tour Location: Walters Gardens (1992 96th Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464)
10:30 - 11:15 a.m.  Presentation: Energy Savings and Return on Investment on Energy Projects – Troy Shumaker, Walters Gardens Inc.

11:15 a.m. - 12 p.m. Tour of Walters Gardens energy efficiency projects: Philips LED toplighting, in-floor heat, environmental control system

12 -1 p.m.          Lunch and Partner Presentations, Walters Gardens
