Michigan’s Cottage Food Law allows those with an entrepreneurial spirit to prepare and sell certain homemade foods prepared in home kitchens. Cottage foods are non-hazardous foods that can be safely kept at room temperature and do not require refrigeration. This workshop will give you information on how to safely make, label and sell cottage foods. MSU Extension educators Michelle Jarvie and Wendy Wieland will present the business and food safety aspects of preparing and selling cottage foods.  Sponsored by MSU Extension/EOE Program
