Kumihimo is the ancient Japanese art of braiding. In fact, kumihimo means "coming together of threads" in Japanese. We'll be learning a basic eight-strand round braid and adding a gemstone pendant to create a necklace. We will meet at 1:30 p.m. in Room B at the fairgrounds April 25. There is a class fee of $10 which covers the cost of materials for the project. You will also take home a braiding disk and bobbins so you can continue to kumihimo on your own.
Please contact Veronica Bolhuis or Cheryl Booth (firstname.lastname@example.org) to register for this class no later than April 15 to ensure there are enough supplies available.
