Learn the hot water bath canning technique of home food preservation. This hands on workshop will teach participants food safety related to canning, basics of food preservation, canning jams and jellies.

Costs: $20 workshop includes all supplies and food for this canning session. This class is for individuals who are deaf/hard of hearing and or blind.  An interpreter will be available.

Class will be held Friday, May 9, 2014, at the Macomb County MSUE Office located at 21885 Dunham Rd., Clinton Twp., MI 48036 in Assembly Room A; 9 a.m.-noon.  ******Please note class size is limited to 12 people.

Payment is due at time of registration. Interpreters will be available at this class.
