Buying a house is a huge investment - most likely the largest single transaction you will ever make. With Homebuyer Education, you will come into your housing search with valuable information about the process that will help you navigate the technicalities and avoid falling into a money pit. You will learn:
- Pros and cons of homeownership
- Importance of good credit
- Steps in the home buying process
- How to determine how much house you can afford
- Costs of homeownership
- Mortgage loan basics
This is a one day certification class.
MSU Extension is a HUD/MSHDA approved housing agency and this is a certification class.
