From Home Garden to Market Garden

The demand for local, fresh vegetables continues to increase across Michigan. This program focuses on turning a home garden into a small business, supplying produce for farm markets and farm stands.
“From Home Garden to Market Garden” program covers business planning, equipment needed and effective pest and disease management. Participants will be provided with ideas on what to grow and how to market your produce.
The program will take place from 6-9 p.m. May 10 at the Human Services Building in Ingham County, 5303 S. Cedar, Lansing, Mich. Just go to the Michigan State University Extension conference room located on the second floor. There is a $55 fee per person and registrations are still being accepted.
