Free County Parks Day

County Parks Day will offer informational exhibits and activities designed for children and familiies. Muskegon County MSU Extension 4-H will have hands-on learning activities.
Event is free. Pioneer Park is popular with its 145-acre park offering camping, swimming, sunbathing, picnicking, tennis, softball, basketball and volleyball. The park is located on Lake Michigan and has over 2,000 feet of white, sandy beach frontage. The park offers 235 modern campsites with open and shaded sites. Twin Lake County Park, 6231 Main St. Twin Lake is a 15-acre park with shaded and open areas for family outdoor activities. The park has 800 feet of frontage on Twin Lake and is very popular for picnicking and swimming.
Pioneer County Park is located at 1563 N. Scenic Drive, Muskegon, Mich. West on Giles Road to Scenic, turn right, park is on left.
