Food Preservation - Pressure Canning

Learn how to successfully and safely use a pressure canner for low acid foods and a water bath canner for acid foods. This class will provide you with handout and resources to reference. Each person will go home with canned fish.

The cost of the workshop is $20. Registrations for SNAP participants will be waived upon verification at check-in.

This workshop will be taught by an experienced MSU Extension food safety educator. This is a hands-on workshop!
