This class will be held at Focus Hope, 1400 Oakman Boulevard, Detroit, MI 48238. Class will be located in the cafe on the first floor. Participants will learn the hot water bath method of food preservation for canning pickled vegetables like dilled carrots and dilled green beans. Ingredient selection and level of product acidity will be discussed. Parking is across the street from the building, with easy access from Oakman Boulevard.
