This webinar is for youth leaders, teachers and any others interested in learning more about Environmental Education.
This free, two part webinar series serves as an introduction to Environmental Education with each portion being 30 minutes. MSU Extension Educator Nick Baumgart will guide participants thru the history of environmental education into its current structure. Each goal of EE will be discussed to accurately depict its intended use and application. Practical lessons will be shared along with a list of valuable resources to be used by educators, youth leaders and others interested in utilizing EE lessons in their programming. Questions and discussion will take place through the webinar ‘chat’ function. Participants will receive the webinar URL after their registration. A recording of the webinar will be made available to registered participants.
Participants will discover the history of EE and ways to better implement EE lessons and activities in their classroom and youth programs.
