Claiming their community to be the “Elk capital of Michigan since 1986”, the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce annually celebrates elk with a fall festival held in downtown Atlanta west of Main Street near the intersection of Parland and State streets. The event begins the evening of Friday, September 27 and continues through Sunday, September 29th.
