This event is designed for farm owners and managers who manage employees.
Employees enable farm owners to do much more than they could ever achieve on their own, and to add skills and perspectives that owners don’t possess. The bottom line is that employees make you better.
At this informative meeting, you will have the opportunity to listen and interact with professionals on how to effectively manage your farm employees. Sessions will be focused around 4 key areas:
- Attracting good applicants in today’s job environment
- Building teamwork on the farm
- Capitalizing on your employees’ desire to learn
- Achieving high quality performance
The program will be held on January 27-28, 2015 at the Doubletree Hotel in Bay City, Mich. and on January 29-30, 2015 at the Hilton Hotel in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The cost of the program is $160 for the first person from a farm and $140 for each subsequent person from the same farm. Registration includes all meals, refreshments, materials and sessions. Overnight lodging is not included.
