Dining with Diabetes

A four week series starting July 16 including basic nutrition information for people with diabetes and food preparation demonstrations. Topics include reducing fat and sodium in meals, cooking with herbs and spices, using sugar and sugar substitutes, and adding fiber, minerals and vitamins to meals with vegetables and fruits. A fifth session "Healthy Eating during the Holidays" will be held three months after the workshop on October 15 from 6 - 8 p.m.
