Dining with Diabetes

Dining with Diabetes is a four week workshop with each session lasting two hours. Each session includes an educational portion as well as a food demo and taste testing of healthy, diabetes friendly foods including main dishes, starchy and non-starchy side dishes and desserts. Learn to prepare meals using less fat and how to make meals with less sodium and sugar without reducing flavor and enjoyment. Educational topics include tools for managing diabetes and the importance of a healthy diet and physical activity. Participants receive a workbook with resource information and recipes.
