Join us in welcoming back the very first Dessert with Discussion speaker, MSU Professor, Jianguo “Jack” Liu. In 2005 Liu presented “Pandas, People and Policies” and this October will share “A Global Conservation Icon under Climate Change.”

Jianguo “Jack” Liu holds the Rachel Carson Chair in Sustainability, is University Distinguished Professor of Fisheries and Wildlife at Michigan State University and also serves as director of the Center for Systems Integration and Sustainability. Liu’s research integrates ecology with social sciences, taking a holistic approach to addressing complex human-environmental challenges.

Enjoy coffee, tea and delicious locally sourced desserts provided by the KBS Conference Center. Cash bar featuring house wines and Michigan craft beer available prior to the event.
