USDA-FSA Dairy Margin Protection Program: Educational Program Presented by Michigan State University Extension via webinar across the U.P. The 2014 Farm Bill initiated a new dairy program that is expected to assist in risk management when the MILC and price support programs expire. All dairy farmers will need to make a decision about whether to participate. If a farmer chooses to participate, they will also choose a level of participation.
Join us at one of the MSU Extension meeting teleconference sites across the U.P. to learn more about the Dairy Margin Protection Program and what it means for your business. The Webinar will be broadcast at various locations across the U.P. The program will be presented by Chris Wolf, Dairy Economics Specialist with Michigan State University.
There is no cost to attend the webinar session. Bring your own lunch and participate at one of the local sites.
