Creating a Club Environment

Positive youth development  in a club or a youth group setting  such as  4-H Club, Boys & Girls Club youth group programming engages youth as participants in the process, setting the tone for them to lead and determine what they will accomplish with their peers. This workshop will focus on the key components of creating a club environment and how that leads to positive outcomes including: setting the stage at the first group meeting, balancing fun/business/and learning, characteristics for success, and the importance of recognition.

Lunch and snacks will be provided. Casual dress is appropriate.

MAC AmeriCorps: $0.00
MSU Extension Staff and AmeriCorps: $25.00
Non-MSU Extension Staff or AmeriCorps Members: $50.00

Cancellations received after Feb. 23 will be charged a $10 cancellation fee.
