What do your county’s budget and audit reports mean to you? Do you feel the pressure to provide critical public services while maintaining fiscal responsibility? Then this workshop with a new hands-on curriculum is for you.

Workshop participants will gain an understanding of key performance indicators such as return on assets, debt burden assessment, revenue trends and other tools to help you critically assess your policy objectives and maintain a path toward financial sustainability.

Participants will come away with hands-on tools for assessing the current fiscal trajectory of their county and the impact of any new decisions on their county’s financial health. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of a recent audit and current budget.

The new curriculum will be used at five regional workshops.
