This Cooking Matters training will be fun, interactive and hands-on. The break-out sessions will be peer-guided covering the following subjects:
- How to Set up a mobile kitchen
- How to plan, shop and divide groceries for groups
- Knife skills/cutting up a whole chicken
- How to Cover Curriculum from Start to Finish
Participants will need to submit travel on TRWs. This may be done separately or with regular monthly travel. These charges are training related and should be divided on the basis of their appointment to their SNAP-Ed/EFNEP district accounts.
Those requiring overnight accommodations must be traveling more than 75 miles in one direction. Those traveling overnight may also claim per diem at the state rate for meals not provided. Overnight accommodations are limited to $75/night/person. Sharing rooms is highly encouraged. Charges may not be direct billed and must be reimbursed with a zero balance receipt.
