Cooking Matters for Parents

This is a six-week nutrition and healthy cooking series that focuses on teaching parents/caregivers of young children about healthy eating and being physically active as a family. Each lesson is two hours long and includes one hour of nutrition education/activities and one hour of hands-on cooking as a group. Each participant will also go home with the groceries to make the recipe again at home for their families. The program is free to all. Childcare will also be provided to you by Alcona MOPS free of cost.

Space is limited. Registration deadline is Feb 11, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. If special accommodations are needed, please notify by Feb 1, 2016.
