Cooking Matters for Adults

Cooking Matters involve a six week series that meets once a week for two hours. A cook/chef will come in each week to help participants prepare a recipe. Nutrition lessons and cooking skills will be demonstrated and discuss each week. Cooking Matters teaches cooking basics, reading food labeling, my plate and much more.

At the end of class, each participant will be able to take home recipe ingredients to prepare during the week. 

These classes are free to adults who qualify for SNAP benefits, WIC, and are low Income.
