Cooking Matters® at the Store pop-up tour allows participants to learn how to shop for healthy foods on a budget, the set-up is a workshop inside a classroom. Cooking Matters® encourages participants to:

  • select nutritious foods with the help of nutrition labels
  • compare prices
  • learn about MyPlate
  • choose budget-friendly ingredients that are necessary to prepare healthy meals


Who: anyone that would like to start making changes to their eating habits and want to be able to choose nutritious foods when shopping at the grocery store
