BEES: Building Early Emotional Skills

The Building Early Emotional Skills in Young Children class, or BEES class, is a workshop for parents of children ages birth through three. This class is entirely online. Participants have an opportunity to complete self directed online materials, and join in a weekly webinar to talk with their classmates. This 8-week series will address topics including parenting stress, communicating with children, setting limits, and handling tantrums and biting. There is no cost for these online training's. Participants will receive print course materials and weekly educational materials for your children, at no cost. Participants must be Michigan residents and have a child in their custody ages birth through three years old. Preference is giving to families qualifying for assistance programs such as WIC, Head Start and Bridge Card/EBT programs.
