Learn how to implement this National 4-H curriculum focusing on youth entrepreneurship in your club, school or community group. From identifying passionate business ideas, to developing a business plan, to operating a business, the Be the E curriculum helps teens develop the skills and knowledge needed to be a young entrepreneur. Participants experience a variety of experiential learning activities that include famous entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial traits, business name game, recipe for success, how do I price it, how do I sell it, tax man cometh and developing a business plan. Curriculum is included.
MSU Extension is pleased to offer professional development opportunities designed to assist youth development program staff and volunteer administrators in their efforts to provide quality volunteer management. Snacks will be provided. Please bring your own lunch. An email will be sent to participants one week prior to the session confirming attendance and providing any additional instructions. Casual dress is appropriate. There is a $25 cancellation fee for those who cancel after May 15, 2014.
