Agriculture Career Tour and Chicago Trip

Whether you grew up on a farm or not, chances are there is a career opportunity waiting for you in the agriculture industry. Jobs in the agriculture field include technology, business, natural resources, plants and animals.
The 4-H Agriculture Career Tour and Chicago trip will include tours and speakers from various agriculture businesses highlighting potential career possibilities for young people to explore. The itinerary may include marketing, shipping, processing, regulatory, or retail facilities. In addition, participants will have an opportunity to visit a Chicago museum and the “MAG Mile”.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Michigan youth ages 13-19 years old (age as of Jan. 1, 2018)
This opportunity is limited to 15 youth. Must be currently enrolled as a 4-H member; must have completed media/medical release form in 4-H Online.

HOW TO REGISTER
Register online by Oct. 16, 2017
$300 (includes lodging, transportation, most meals, tour, and museum admission). The majority of the costs for this trip will be paid from 4-H Commodity Carnival grant funds. All registration fees must be paid in full prior to the trip. The registration fee will not be refunded for cancellations after the registration deadline.

If paying by check, please make check payable to Michigan State University and send to Sanilac County MSU Extension, 171 Dawson St Suite 323, Sandusky, MI 48471. All checks must be postmarked no later than the registration deadline to guarantee your registration.
