Food Safety for Food Handlers
This course is designed for hourly food service workers, non-profit volunteers, and anyone handling food to be provided to the public. Using the ServSafe Food Handler Guide the course easily integrates food safety into any existing training program.
The course covers five key areas:
- Basic Food Safety
- Personal Hygiene
- Cross-Contamination & Allergens
- Time and Temperature
- Cleaning and Sanitation
The guide has color-coded sections for easy reference. Color photographs from the learner’s point of view helps reinforce food safety concepts
An enhanced assessment can be taken at the completion of training to measure if employees have the minimum competency in food safety knowledge.
