Michigan 4-H members are doing amazing things and the world should know about it!!
This workshop will provide tools and training for 4-H members (12-19 years old as of Jan. 1, 2017) who serve as spokespeople for 4-H, teen leaders, ambassadors and community issue advocates. 4-H members represent themselves, their club, community, and Michigan 4-H. Some 4-H members are even involved in solving issues facing teens on a bigger scale. Learn how to share your 4-H story and the message of 4-H youth development in a way that is impactful and meaningful.
Workshop highlights will include:
- Dining etiquette
- Practice public speaking
- Promote 4-H
- Preparing for an interview
- Social Media, Photovoice, Video
These workshops are partially sponsored under the 4-H Ag Innovators Experience grant from National 4-H Council and Monsanto.
Back by popular demand this 1-day workshop will be offered in two exciting locations!
- August 17: Mid Michigan Community College-Mt Pleasant Campus, 2600 S. Summerton Rd., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 (9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) OR
- August 21: Gazebo Banquet Center, 31104 Mound Rd., Warren, MI 48082 (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
