4-H Fresh Food Season

Date: Tuesdays, July 18th—August 15th, 2017

Teens will learn about Michigan’s growing season, focusing on peak times to plant and pick produce. In each session, teens will be making fresh snacks with an emphasis of locally grown produce. This series is aimed to give youth a better understanding of the importance of eating locally, and of course, trying some delicious food!

Cost: $5 for current 4-H members, $15 for non-4-H members (class fee plus $10 4-H participation fee to join 4-H). Checks made payable to Michigan State University.

Must enroll prior to the start of the series at https://mi.4honline.com/. Create a family profile and youth profile for each youth in the family that is enrolling. Please select Eaton County as the 4-H county and enroll in the “4-H Fresh Food Season” series.
