9:30 a.m. for morning snacks & registration. 
Program will start promptly at 10 a.m. and will wrap-up at 3 p.m.

Keep your club alive and thriving. We will look at strategies for involving parents, utilizing teens in leadership roles, creating an atmosphere of engagement (fun, learning, social); program planning, and offer tips for energizing your club meetings and events. Participants will actively explore some energizers and explore facilitation skills that get everyone up and moving. Leaders and staff alike will enjoy this professional development opportunity. 

Cost:
  • MAC AmeriCorps Members - No Charge
  • MSU Extension Staff /4-H Volunteers/ AmeriCorps Members- $45
  • Non-MSU Extension Staff / Non-AmeriCorps Members- $75
 
Cancellation Fee: $10 after October 5


MSU Extension is pleased to offer professional development opportunities designed to assist youth development program staff and volunteer administrators in their efforts to provide quality volunteer management. Lunch and snacks will be provided. An email will be sent to participants one week prior to the session confirming attendance and providing any additional instructions. Casual dress is appropriate. The session will be held at the Isabella County MSU Extension Office, 200 N. Main Street, 3rd Floor Room 320, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858.
