4-H Visual Arts & Crafts Workshop

Teens, aged 13 by January 1, 2013, and adults will be energized at this workshop with loads of new ideas for working with youth in arts and crafts projects.  Participants will also discover how youth can acquire leadership skills through the arts.  Arts and crafts taught include: Bling Jewelry; Pysanky: Traditional Polish Egg Art; Gourd Art; Table Top Mosaics; Basketry; Paper Crafting: Jewelry, Memory Books and More; Packaging, Bow Making & Presenting Your Art; World Arts Jeopardy; Photographing People Like a Pro; Photography for the Non-Photographer; Leaf Casting; Home D├ęcor Through Recycled Materials; Hula Hoop T-Shirt Rugs; Marketing Your Talent Online; Rock Painting; Artist Trading Cards; and Keep Them in Stitches: Knitting, Leadership & Community Service.  Real Colors: Real Leadership is the workshop opening.  Evening activities, especially for teens, include Diversity Through Dance and 30 Kids: 31 Legs activity.  To register for this event go to https://enrollment.4-h.org/events/30/splash.
