16-Hour ServSafe Kent County

Extension offers 16-hour ServSafe training, which is a national certification program.
Participants must complete the entire course and receive a 75% score on the exam to earn a certificate.
The cost of the 16-hour course is $145 per person plus the ServSafe Manager 6th edition book (purchased separately, not included in the registration fee). You must have a ServSafe Manager 6th edition book that contains an answer sheet to take the exam.
Classes are taught by MSU Extension educators, who are certified instructors and exam proctors through the National Restaurant Association.
This class is designed for anyone working in the food service industry, including non-profit organizations.

No food or drink is provided so feel free to bring your own drink or a snack to class. We will break around noon for lunch.
