Member (Ages 9-19) /Cloverbud (Ages 5-8) Enrollment Information

Potential New 4-H Families: listed below is more information regarding 4-H , please read this information before enrolling in 4-H.

To enroll in Montcalm County 4-H:

Please go to the new 4HOnline website at: http://mi.4honline.com  using either Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari for you web browser, as Internet Explorer is not compatible. For step-by-step/instructions on how to use 4HOnline, open the 4HOnline Family Guide (for new 4-H family enrollments) or 4HOnline Re-enrollment Process (for 4-H re-enrollee’s) on the 4HOnline website. Once 4-H members/cloverbuds are enrolled on 4HOnline, please fill out the 4-H Family Participation Fee Worksheet below and give it to your Club 4-H Administrative Leader along with your $10 participation fee before: December 1, 2016 (for re-enrolling 4-H’ers) or by April 1, 2017 (for new 4-H’ers). Participation Fee checks are made payable to: Michigan State University (MSU). Scholarships are available to help pay 4-H participation fees. If a scholarship is needed, please contact the MSU Extension office at (989) 831-7500 to find out the process.

Any youth aged 18, 19 or 20 at the time of a 4-H event who are planning to attend as a participant must fill out the Background Check Form. At least one reference check and a criminal history check will be conducted in accordance with the Michigan 4-H Youth Programs Youth-Adult Housing Policy for 4-H Overnight Events.

NEW Volunteer Leader Information

Volunteer Applications Forms will be accepted before April 1, 2017. The following forms are required to complete the Volunteer Selection Process (VSP). Once these forms are completed, please mail them to the Montcalm MSU Extension office, 211 W. Main Street, P.O. Box 368, Stanton, MI  48888 for processing. Until VSP is completed you are not a 4-H volunteer leader.

*** NOTE***: Once these forms are completed, please mail them to the MSU Montcalm Extension office, 211 W. Main Street, P.O. Box 368, Stanton, MI  48888 for processing. New 4-H Volunteers do not enroll on 4HOnline until your Volunteer Selection Process (VSP) is completed. All questions regarding VSP should be forwarded to Kadren Grawburg, 4-H Program Coordinator, at the MSU Montcalm Extension office at (989) 831-7514.

RE-ENROLLING 4-H VOLUNTEER FORMS

If you are interested in starting a new 4-H Club in Montcalm County, please complete and submit the following forms to the Montcalm MSU Extension office, by February 1, 2017.
