Fund-Raiding for 4-H Volunteers Webinar 

MSU Extension is pleased to offer Fund-Raising for 4-H Volunteers webinar on March 6th at 7 p.m.  The webinar will provide 4-H Volunteers an overview of the Michigan 4-H and Michigan State University Extension fund-raising polices, it will help volunteers understand more about the fund-raising in a 4-H experience, the process volunteers need to complete and help answer any questions volunteers have on fund-raising. This a free webinar is open to all 4-H Volunteers, 4-H Parents, and 4-H Members. Please register at the following web address:

Michigan 4-H Robotics Challenge

March 10-11, 2018 @ the Kettunen Center in Tustin, MI 

Do you participate in robotics? Save the date for the Michigan 4-H Robotics Challenge! Participate in LEGO EV3, Junk Drawer Robotics, or VEX real-time challenges and a teambuilding challenge. Open to youth ages 12-16, youth can participate as a team or register as an individual and be assigned a team (youth should have prior knowledge in your challenge choice). More information and registration will be coming soon!


Challenge U 4-H FunFest

March 17-18, 2018

Are you ready to accept the challenge? Youth and adults who attend Challenge U 4-H FunFest will spend two days learning about food science and healthy living while meeting youth from around the state. Challenge U 4-H FunFest will challenge participants and chaperones in hands-on sessions that range from physical fitness to healthy snacking and much more.

  • Enjoy hands-on interactive and experiential learning activities.
  • Learn how to take your personal best and make it better.
  • Positive youth adult activities.
  • Peer-to-peer positive activities.
  • Life skill development.
  • Personal independence.

Goat Workshop

March 18, 2018 Noon - 3:00 p.m. @ the Ingham County Fairgrounds, Mason, Main Arena


Youth and adults involved or interested in the goat project area.


Topics covered will include goat first aid; grooming and fitting both dairy and market goats, showmanship, cart driving and the goat digestive system. There will also be a skillathon contest.
