2018 4-H Exploration Days

2018 Exploration Days books are NOW AVAILABLE online and hard copy books should be in the office by the end of the first full week of March. We will begin taking the registration forms immediately. Remember, classes fill quickly, so be sure to get your selections made and returned as soon as possible as we will enter your forms on a first come, first serve basis.

In addition to the signup for Exploration Days, Slow Spokes registration is now open too. The form to sign up for this event is in the same packet as the Exploration Days payment form below. Keep in mind, if you are 11+ years old and are planning to ride your bike through Slow Spokes to MSU, you must also attend Exploration Days.

Registrations will be accepted for both Exploration Days and Slow Spokes until 5 p.m. on Friday, April 20! No late registrations will be accepted!

2018 Monroe County 4-H Scholarships

Below you will find the eligibility requirements for each scholarship offered through the Monroe County 4-H Program. Additionally, there is a separate application form to complete for each scholarship for which you wish to apply. Please note: we will try to provide as many youth with scholarships as possible. Depending on the applicant pool, this may result in each applicant receiving at maximum one scholarship. All applications will be due to Sara Lewis by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018. Applications and accompanying materials will be accepted by: mail (963 South Raisinville Road, Monroe, MI 48161), email (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) or dropped off at the Extension Office. Scholarship interviews will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018. Scheduling of these interviews, in 10 to 12 minute time slots, will be available on February 1, 2018 by visting http://bit.ly/2BH4UJ6. 4-H Online (Reminder Spring Enrollments are Due April 1st, 2018 in order to show at the 2018 Monroe County Fair)

4HOnline New Family Guide: This guide is for families who are new to Monroe County 4-H.

4HOnline Re-Enrollment Guide: This guide is for those who are re-enrolling for the new program year. This includes youth, parents and volunteers. You should have received a hard copy form from your community club leader that indicates the email address used to create the username. If you have not previously provided an email address, please contact the Extension Office to provide so we can get you set up as soon as possible.

Want to become a 4-H Volunteer?

To be eligible as a club or project leader, adults aged 20 and older must complete the Volunteer Selection Process. This simple process entails an application with three references, online submitted background check, four short volunteer training videos and a brief interview a 4-H Program Coordinator.
