4-H Online enrollment process guide
Open Enrollment Deadline (for 2017 - 2018 4-H club year): Re-enrollment deadline in 4-H Online for returning 4-H club members is January 1, 2018. Enrollment deadline of youth new to 4-H will be accepted through June 1, 2018.
Annual Financial Report Forms Deadline: December 1, 2017
Participation Fee Increase (for 2017 - 2018 4-H club year):
As of September 1, 2017, the Michigan 4-H participation fee will be $20 per youth OR $60 per family per year, whichever is lowest. Families with 3 or more children in 4-H will not pay over $60 in annual participation fees.

Tractor Supply Clover Campaign
The fall 2017 4-H Paper Clover Campaign will take place October 5 - 16, 2017.
Shoppers at the Stevensville and Niles TSC stores will have the opportunity to support 4-H in Berrien County by choosing to purchase paper clovers for a $1.00 or more at checkout. All funds raised will be donated to 4-H and will support 4-H youth development program activities in our county. Funds go to support the Berrien County 4-H Participation Fee Scholarship Fund and new resources.

Description: The course is a mixture of varied terrain throughout the vineyards, orchards, and other crops on the MSU Southwest Michigan Research Center grounds. Terrain is not suitable for strollers. A qualifying event in the racers run forest run off road race series. This event provides funds to go towards 2018 4-H Exploration Days participants.

On Saturday, October 7, 2017, the We Can Ride 4-H Club will be hosting its annual Ride & Walk-A-Thon at Russ Forest County Park in Dowagiac, which is the Club’s largest fundraiser of the year! You will benefit by riding your horse or by walking on the many beautiful trails at Russ Forest, and the Club will benefit from pledges and donations. All Funds raised will be used solely fro the benefit of the Club and are tax deductible.
Checks should be made payable to the We Can Ride 4-H Club and returned with the registration form, link below. If you are unable to attend the Ride & Walk-A-Thon, the completed form below may be turned in to any WCR Board Member or mailed to We Can Ride 4-H Club; c/o Barbara Lenahrdt, 2441 Rebecca Lane, Niles, MI 49120. Registration/sign-in: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon - West entrance
(All participants must sign in at the registration table)
Parking: Horse trailers & others - East entrance
There will be lunch and refreshments! Fun activities will be planned throughout the day for non-riders
Free T-shirts will be given to those collecting $35 or more in pledges! (On a first-come, first serve basis.)

4-H Tractor Operator Coming Soon!
Michigan State University Extension offers the Tractor Operator Program (TOP) through the 4-H Youth Development Program. Successful completion of the 4-H TOP provides completion certificates to 13 - 19-year-olds.
Who: Youth 13 - 19 years of age
(currently, youth must be 14 by the day of the driving test to be eligible to receive federal certificate)
Cost: $ 50.00 per person
When: The 9-week course is usually taught on Wednesday evenings, mid-January through March each year, with an occasional Saturday practice driving.
Where: The program will meet at the Old Baroda Township Hall, Baroda, MI 49101
